We’ve always spent most of our time together laughing. . . . After sound check, we have dinner together, and it’s just us in the dressing room for about ½ hour or forty minutes. We all catch up on stuff that’s going on day to day or in our lives or whatever. And it’s also a chance for us to have some laughs, and we always do that, every single day that we’re together. We do that. It’s been a very important part of our longevity, for sure.

  1. Haha,NONE of what Sir-Alex said in this interview, should COME as a “surprise” or shock to ANYONE who knows ANYTHING WHATSOEVER,about RUSH!!! For they’ve had a long-lasting “Friendship” MORE IMPORTANT than ANYTHING they all accomplished in their “musical” careers!!! And I think BECAUSE of that fact ALONE…………..is why after 40-straight YEARS………..they all STILL can get together in a room and write-music,play music together, and most IMPORTANTLY,have a BLAST of fun while DOING SO,even after 40-years together!!! Congrats for RUSH and for them giving ALL OF US (fans and non-fans ALIKE) the PLEASURE of their music and comradery for all these years!!! 🙂
