One thing this blog is NOT, is a news source for progressive music, bands, upcoming releases, and conert tours. There are some pretty decent internet sources for that kind of material–this isn’t one of them.
The one absolutely indispensable cyber-source that you must follow is PROGARCHY: POINTING TOWARD PROGHALLA. This serious, literate, and multi-authored blog is found at: https://progarchy.com/ While all of the reviewers are top-notch, anything written by blog co-founder Dr. Brad Birzer is worth reading, learning, and inwardly digesting.

Progarchy 
ulp (my gulping and sweating and face turning red noise)… my little blog-let (first started on blogger a year or so ago) was just me sharing my musical tastes with an old high-school chum from 40 years ago…at the dawn of Tull, Genesis, Yes, King Crimson, ELP et al… I am floored that my musical guru/hero/maestro Dr. Birzer would ever give this truly UNDESERVED ‘shout out’… shucks, now I’ve got to actually post a bit of content (there is that new SLYVAN album I’ve been meaning to review 😀 ). Dr. Birzer, in the words of Wayne and Garth (and truly meaning it) I AM NOT WORTHY. Also, a shout out to your own Gianne E and her posts on Marillion. They’ve become my favorite band along with Big Big Train.

Agreed 110% with his sentiments about Sir-Brad!!! Brad is the main-reason I started READING Progarchy in the FIRST PLACE!!! Even if he reviews Prog.bands I’ve NEVER heard of before,I place Trust in Brad’s words and give them a try only to find Brad’s review about them,MOST relevant if not downright bare-bones Truthful!!! Also,ANYTHING Brad says about “RUSH” (whom is my ONLY Band I’ll ever cherish!!!) is almost as if,I THOUGHT and FELT the EXACT SAME WAY!!! Is almost “eerie” to me sometimes regarding that!!! Haha. I commend Brad and all the other writers on this site,for the FINE jobs You all do!!!
