Radiant Bargain Bin

nm so many roads
One of Neal’s best.

Every once in a while, it’s well worth checking out the bargain bin at Radiant Records.  Right now, some great stuff–as always.

The album that got me back into listening to Neal (following my allergic reaction to Sola Scriptura). This showed up at my local indie store, back before their sales shifted to 90+% vinyl. Picked up Lifeline the next time at my local FYE, and haven’t missed a release of new material since.

My major hangup with Sola was that Rome got all the cool death metal riffs, and Luther got all the supermellow ballads (usually with the words, “Oh, God” included in the lyrics somewhere). I think when I saw Neal live (on the Momentum tour), they did a chunk of Sola, which sounded great, so you’ve got a point.
