Impressive vocal work — if AB can pull off “The First Rebreather” and “East Coast Racer” with that level of panache, I’m sold.

Impressive indeed. My initial reaction was a bit of grief hearing someone other than David sing this work under the circumstances, but that isn’t a slight against AB. I think he’ll be great. The band was wise in using those clips, which I assume are from his audition tapes, in this promo. But David being gone is still a bitter pill to swallow.
