Seriously, though, “We Said Hello, Goodbye” and “Don’t Lose My Number” are two of the best Phil Collins songs.

Beth, that’s right! Some of Collin’s solo songs were pretty good. I don’t remember that album very well, though.

“Take Me Home” was another great one from that album. (I can’t believe I forgot to mention that one.) The other big hit from that was “One More Night” (a slow-dance perennial). The rest of the album is, admittedly, just okay but not quite as strong. But I don’t think the album was meant to be taken seriously (hence the title).

Power Windows and Big Chair are still two of my very favorite albums to this day. Very hard to beleive they both came out the same year.
