This video makes me giddy as well as sad. This was clearly the highpoint of this band, and what a high point it was.
Watching this video gives me absolute chills, reminding why they were once a favorite band of mine.
But, wow, did they fall fast or what. So sad. Still, enjoy this in all of its HD glory. Really stunning.

I actually thought their hit their “live high” on the Once Upon A Time Tour (opening with “Waterfront”…oh, my), and their creative high with “Street Fighting Years.”
After that, I think the era of “we have to change the world with every song, every gig” was wearing thin with fans, since you also had U2, Sting, and sometimes Gabriel doing the same thing – every song being set up and treated as an event.

Kevin–I think you nailed it. A better assessment than mine. Street Fighting Years is good, but it’s way too over produced, at least to my mind.
