Unapologetic hippie prog!

The older I get, the more I love the past, even as I’m profoundly enjoying the present.  2017.  It has a nice sound.  2017.  Looking back over the years of which this current one is an important anniversary (ok, not the best writing in the world), I can’t help but think of several important years and albums that spring to mind immediately.

25 Years Ago: The Cure’s WISH

20 Years Ago: The Flower Kings’s STARDUST WE ARE

15 Years Ago: Rush’s VAPOR TRAILS

10 Years Ago: Holy Crud.  SNAKES AND ARROWS; NIGHT; FEAR OF A BLANK PLANET. . .

Ok, I’m getting in way too deep.  My real point is: STARDUST WE ARE is twenty years old this year.  Amazing.  An album that grabs me at my deepest depths, even to this day.

See them crawling out of dusty holes
Ghosts of yesterday, now twice as bold
Set the wheels in motion once again
Flames they change, the empires remain
