It’s finally here! 6 months after Ayreon Universe was performed in the 013 venue in Tilburg, the Netherlands, the show is available on CD, vinyl, bluray, DVD and digital (more on that later). ITEMS AND FEATURES
The DVD and blu-ray will have an extensive making of documentary, including interviews with the entire cast, and highlights from the try-out show performed a few weeks earlier. The triple vinyl is currently out of stock in our European store, so get out the door and pick it up at your local record store instead. Had my Blu Ray of this arrive today Brad. I have not had chance to watch it yet but I am looking well forward to it over the weekend. No doubt in good time I shall be doing a review of it. Regarding the the Digital Download I would rather have any concert with the picture as well and not just in audio only. Especially in today’s world of technology with 5.1 surround sound and Blu Ray. To be honest even with the versions I have brought that come with CD’s in the package as well. I never play the CD’s.
I hardly think people are that poor that they cannot afford a DVD or Blu Ray player especially when you can buy them as cheap as chips these days. It’s not like buying car or even a push bike for that matter. I quite often find a lot of leeches hanging around Arjen’s FB page begging him to out it on streaming sites so they can hear his music for free. Honestly no wonder it’s hard for any artist to sell stuff these days :)))))).
